Welcome to our website we are a UK-based company who have designed and manufactured a door safety finger guard device aptly named the Jamb Angel™ primarily to prevent the trapping of fingers, paws and tails in the hinge side and latch side of doors resulting in serious and life-changing injuries to predominately small children's fingers and pets alike. 

Unfortunately in the UK, about 30,000 children trap and seriously crush their fingers in doors each year, and more than 1,500 of these children will need surgery, sometimes requiring ongoing reconstructive surgery. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) provides these figures and emphasizes the importance of using door safety catches to prevent such injuries. Jamb Angel™ is patent-pending, has been granted a UK-registered design (6373769) and fits between the front and back of a standard internal domestic door on the hinge side at the top and out of reach of children. Its unique design allows it to remain attached to the door when either the door is open or closed but most importantly as soon as the door is opened fully the Jamb Angel™ automatically engages between the door and door jamb thus providing instant protection to prevent finger crush injuries, additionally, it will also prevent the accidental closure of doors ensuring children or pets are not accidentally locked in a room.
