How to install the Jamb Angel™ and use it for domestic internal doors only:

Very Important: Do NOT fit the Jamb Angel to fire doors.

1. Stand on the side of the door with the hinges, typically the outside of the room, and open the door as far as it can go into the room.

2. Hold the Jamb Angel™ in each hand, pull it apart, and stretch the cord.

3. Remember to position the back of the Jamb Angel™ (with the label) towards the back of the door, and the front Jamb Angel™ (the plain one) towards the front of the door. Slide the stretched cord between the door and door frame from the top of the door, ensuring it is positioned above the top hinge.

4. To close the door from outside the room pull, and hold the Jamb Angel™ from the door and door frame, while simultaneously closing the door with the door handle.

5. To close the door from inside the room, open the door fully. Then pull the pull cord until the Jamb Angel™ is removed from between the edge of the door and door frame while simultaneously closing the door with the door handle.

6. To engage the Jamb Angel™ open the door fully to allow the Jamb Angel™ to automatically engage between the edge of the door, door frame and in front of the door jamb.

7. The pull cord is optional and can be removed; it can also be folded up and stored in the top of the front Jamb Angel™.

8. To remove the Jamb Angel™, stand outside the room, fully open the door, then hold the back and front of the Jamb Angel™ and stretch it apart. Simultaneously, remove the Jamb Angel™ from between the door and door frame.

9. Please check the functionality and condition of your  Jamb Angel™ regularly.
